Not only does the show endeavour to introduce to you really cool music, it also presents trivia about featured artists, news that shows you how unique each musical journey is.

Hola, these are exciting times for our crew as we are getting opportunity to play at new venues & cities.

This will be the first time we hit Bangalore city among 30 odd shows we played in last 8 months.

You can catch Bombay Bassment LIVE at Hard Rock Cafe on 4th Aug. We promise you fun time.

Also on eve of Independence Day we are slotted to play at NM College – Umang Festival, again our first college fest gig. Check out On Stage for more details.

The Big M

Back from a super eventful & whirlwind tour of New Delhi, Bombay Bassment is gearing up for a performance at Rolling Stone India’s 3rd Anniversary Celebrations @ Blue Frog tonight (Monday 21st).

The exclusive show will feature 5 bands – Split, Tribal Flora, The Mavyns, Hipnotribe & BBC (Bay Beat Collective) , and each will drop 3 tracks at the gig that is expected to attract music industry veterans.

The band just landed from Delhi this morning after playing at 4 shows in three days. The quartet first rocked on Friday at the brand new United Colors of Benetton (UCB) outlet in Connaught Place, New Delhi which is the apparel company’s biggest in the country, then they proceeded to put it down at club Zook later that evening.

Saturday, they performed at newly opened Boogaloo Cafe & Bar, and on Sunday they wrapped it up at the massive Holi Cow festival where they received a thunderous applause for their performance.

Our BASS Man, Ruell’s guitar string broke in middle of our set. Big shout out to Dushyant Purohit from BFL (Barefaced Liar) for sharing his bass guitar!

On Wednesday too, you can catch the Band at the Club Engima for Hip Hop Hijack LIVE : India’s first Urban Hip Hop Union, and if you miss that, they will be in B69, Andheri East for Kill The Fry-Day (ennui.Bomb Record launch event).

Watch the crew at Zook below (Video courtesy DJ MoCity).

Videos & pics from our New Delhi tour will be updated shortly.

Let’s Hip Hop this week!!!

Music Alliance Pact

Bobkat’s (mc/rapper) vision of Indian Hip Hop is certainly shaping out the way he anticipated. Bombay Bassment’s 1st single Hip-Hop [Never Be The Same] is making huge impact from the time it was released on Stupid Ditties 4: Awesome Foursome compilation back in October 2010. Since then, every gig played, internet streaming platforms or even as our demo, this single has hustled us out good recognition & reviews.

To be part of Music Alliance Pact – March 2011 is by far the biggest achievement for Bombay Bassment.
